Crystal Wisdom Privacy Policy

About this policy

Crystal Wisdom is provided by Purple Clouds Holistics.

This policy explains what information Crystal Wisdom collects, why it is used, how it is stored, and the choices available to you.

Account information

Crystal Wisdom requires an account.

Account information may include your email address, an account identifier, and your name where it is supplied by a sign-in provider.

Authentication and account services are provided through Base44.

Where available, you may use Google or Sign in with Apple to sign in. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email address, and Purple Clouds Holistics can use that relay address only for account-related communication supported by Apple's relay service.

Information you choose to save

Information you save is associated with your signed-in account, so that it is available to you when you return to the app. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• saved crystals and favourites;
• notes associated with crystal use;
• Choose Crystals selections and recommendation history;
• free-text information you enter when asking for crystal suggestions;
• emotional, wellbeing or spiritual interests you select;
• practice-session or journal information, where the app provides it.

AI-assisted features

Some Crystal Wisdom features use AI processing through the Base44 platform. This includes:

• Choose Crystals, which may process the feelings, interests and free-text information you supply;
• Identify Crystal, which processes a photograph you choose.

AI suggestions and identification results are guidance and may not always be accurate.

Crystal identification photographs

A photograph you select for Identify Crystal is uploaded privately for AI processing. A short-lived signed link is used for that processing.

The uploaded image is not automatically added to a Saved Crystal record.

The current platform does not provide Crystal Wisdom with a supported method for individually deleting an uploaded identification file. An uploaded identification photograph may therefore remain within the platform provider's storage after processing.

You do not have to use Identify Crystal to use other parts of the app.

How information is used

Information is used to:

• operate and maintain your account;
• save crystals and history;
• provide personalised crystal suggestions;
• process identification requests;
• operate and improve app functionality;
• protect the security and integrity of the service.

Crystal Wisdom does not use personal information for behavioural advertising, and does not sell personal information.

Service providers

The following providers are involved in operating Crystal Wisdom:

• Base44 — authentication, database storage, file storage, backend services and AI processing.
• Google — where Google sign-in is used.
• Apple — where Sign in with Apple is used.

External crystal images

Educational crystal images shown in the app may come from third-party or public-domain sources, such as Wikimedia Commons. These images are app content rather than photographs uploaded by users.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active, or until you delete the records concerned or your account.

Some information may remain temporarily in platform backups following deletion.

Identifier photographs may be retained as explained in the crystal identification section of this policy.

Account and individual-record deletion

You can delete the saved records the app makes available to delete.

You can initiate permanent account deletion in Crystal Wisdom Settings.

Account deletion removes the user-created database records associated with the account, including saved crystals, history, practice journal and relevant folder records.

Uploaded Identifier files may remain, as already explained above.

Account deletion cannot be undone.

Your choices

You can choose:

• whether to use AI-assisted Choose Crystals;
• whether to upload a crystal photograph;
• what optional notes or reflections you enter;
• which saved records you keep; and
• whether to delete your account.

Children

Crystal Wisdom is not designed to collect personal information specifically from children.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable data-protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

These can include rights to request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion in appropriate circumstances, restrict or object to certain processing, and request information about how your personal information is used.

You may also have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Crystal Wisdom features, service providers or data-handling practices change.

The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
