The Reiki treatments available

I offer four different Reiki treatments: Usui, Crystal, Shamanic and Angelic Reiki. Each offers a slightly different experience, allowing you to choose the approach that feels right for you.

You are welcome to ask for a particular one, or simply book a Reiki session and leave the choice to me on the day. There is no expectation of anything other than rest.

Usui Reiki

Usui Reiki is the traditional Japanese system of energy healing. You remain fully clothed, usually lying comfortably under a blanket, while my hands rest lightly on or just above the body.

Sessions are quiet and still, and most people experience a deep, settling relaxation.

Crystal Reiki

Crystal Reiki brings Reiki and crystals together in one session. You stay fully clothed and comfortable, hands rest lightly on or just above the body, and crystals are placed on and around you to sit with the energy work.

The session is unhurried and led by how you would like it to feel — some people talk, others simply rest quietly.

Shamanic Reiki

Shamanic Reiki combines traditional Reiki with elements of shamanic healing practice, creating a treatment that draws on nature, the elements, sound and energy work.

Sessions incorporate cleansing practices, meditation, the resonant sounds of a crystal Merkaba singing pyramid and the rhythmic vibrations of a shamanic drum. Crystals may also be incorporated to complement the treatment.

The experience brings together Reiki and shamanic traditions in a calm, supportive setting, offering time for relaxation, reflection and reconnection.

Angelic Reiki

Angelic Reiki is a gentle, meditative form of energy healing that draws on spiritual traditions associated with angelic energies. The treatment offers a peaceful opportunity to relax, quieten the mind and enjoy some time for yourself.

What to expect in a session

There is nothing you need to do or believe for a Reiki session to be relaxing. You can keep your shoes on or off, close your eyes or keep them open, and talk or stay silent — whatever feels most comfortable.

If you would prefer hands not to rest on the body at all, that is always fine; the treatment can be given entirely above the body.
